A laboratory Study on Tidepool Protists –(from Race Rocks)

Biology Student Christina Fredericks did this preliminary research paper for her biology extended essay in 1988. She collected the protists  ( Pyramimonas sp. ) from the high intertidal  green tidepools at Race Rocks. Her research questions related to whether they displayed any phototactic response and how they reacted to different salinities. See the complete PDF:
