Hans Roemer and John Pinder-Moss established a series of vegetation and trail plots selected to be representative of the plant cover and soils that occur. Winter wildlife survey. The purposes of the survey were: 1. To census Stone’s sheep by intensive attempted complete counts within the Spatsizi park. 2. To conduct intensive classified counts of moose in Spatsizi and upper Stikine. 3. To conduct reconnaissance wildlife survey in Stikine River Recreation Area.
