BC Parks Enhancement Funding
Wardens: Go to the BC Parks website for the procedure to apply for funding. Hopefully we can increase the proportion of funding allocated to projects proposed by wardens for Ecological Reserves

Good Afternoon,
I hope this email finds you well. I’m excited to let you know that BC Parks is now accepting applications from volunteers and volunteer groups for the regional Park Enhancement Funding. This funding is intended to support community-led conservation and recreation projects in parks across the province. From volunteers to local scientists, Regional PEF funding is a wonderful way to support our local parks partners. Similar to previous years, a total of $240,000 is available ($40,000 for each of our 6 regions, split between conservation and recreation).
Deadline for all applications is May 25th, 2021.
Process:
- Please submit your application to your local BC Parks contact with a copy toBCParks.Volunteers@gov.bc.caby May 25th.
- Applications will be reviewed by BC Parks and applicants will be notified by June 30, 2021.
- Approved projects will require applicants to sign a funding approval letter prior to commencing the project.
- Approved projects will be required to submit a short final report by March 31, 2022.
