List of ER Proposals (1985)

A list of proposed reserves are contained in this 42 page PDF document. It includes an original list from 1968 and then subsequent additions to the list from 1978 to 1984.

It is a scan of the original hardcopy files with handwritten notes. 

It contains both the proposed ER name and a tracking ER Proposal (ERP) number. It also indicates for each proposal the scientist or group who were presenting the proposal.

It shows the large number of reserves that were serious proposals. It begs the question “What happened to the reserves that were not created?”

The above document contains the results from a series of meetings held by the BC Ecological Reserves Committee from 1968 to 1984. Here is a list of those meetings:
