served**  Ruffed Grouse has not been sighted since 1992; however April 2014 a possible sighting.Note some species such as Double-crested cormorant and cliff swallow were observed in the vicinity of the islands, flying over the Fraser River and not on the islands nor their inner waters.Note:  October 2013 observed large numbers of crows moving in, about 700, possibly to roost for the evening.Note:  After 2014 the bird observations, species and numbers, have been recorded in eBird for Fraser River Islands Ecological Reserve at this link:<ahref=”https://ebird.org/canada/hotspot/L844938″>https://ebird.org/canada/hotspot/L844938
