Observers Jane Algard,Wayne Campbell,Richard Gibbs, Phil Nott, Marilyn Paul, and Phyllida Riseborough did a complete census of all islets . On Greater Chain Island for example there were a total of 522 nests with 351 eggs and 735 young.
