Ultraviolet Components of Flower Color in a Bog Habitat

This research by Sheila Douglas, indicates that Floral coloration is an important component of pollinator attraction among entosophilous flowers, reflectance of wavelengths in both the visible and the near uv contribute to color patterns……. The present study examines UV reflectance among 12 species of flowering plants found in the Sphagnum bog habitat.
